Värdshuset Lindgården

A delightful place to stay in a Medieval setting on Gotland. Värdshuset Lindgården is on Strandgatan in Visby. In addition to hotel rooms, it has a well-earned reputation for Gotland cuisine and beautiful leafy grounds that you can enjoy in the summer.

Värdshuset Lindgården

Eight double rooms – sixteen beds in delightful Visby, located within the walls in a beautiful park. The hotel was completely renovated in spring 2016. There are also suites and junior suites at the top of the main house, built in 2019.

Each room in the park has its own entrance, desk and TV. The suites are located on the third floor of the main building, up two flights of stairs without a lift. All rooms have a shower and WC. Breakfast is included and served at our neighbouring hotel Kalk Hotel, which is approximately 100 meters south of us on Strandgatan. Värdshuset Lindgården is open all year.

Restaurang Lindgården

In addition to serving authentic Gotland cuisine, Restaurang Lindgården is also part of the Culinary Gotland network, which has the vision of creating a total experience for every guest in the form of food, drink and environment – and at the same time showcasing the diversity that exists within Gotland gastronomy. The restaurant serves classic dishes using local and locally produced ingredients. In summer the tables are under walnut and mulberry trees in the park and during the rest of the year in the inn’s beautiful dining rooms.

Gingården

If you love a classic Gin & Tonic, you will love Gingården. Here you can sample different types of gin – from Gotland, Sweden, and further afield. There is also a large selection of tonics. Each Gin & Tonic is a feast for your eyes and palate. Gingården is open all year, but relocates to the upper floor of the inn after summer.
